⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful 10 days stay in the villa with 7 people. It is as beautiful as the pictures. The master has a very comfortable bed. Everything you need is already there. The pool is magnificent and the view priceless.

The Villa needs a little TLC maybe due to being empty for so long during covid but nothing that spoilt our holiday. Would definitely recommend for families with babies (still not crawling or walking) or older children due to the design. There are a few shops within walking distance but as the villa is on an extremely steep hill I would not recommend the walk for the less able. We had cars for the week which is a must. Overall it was a fantastic breakaway. Heidi Buckley |

Very well equipped kitchen, BBQ area could be at the front of the house, would feel a bit more social otherwise it is very professional just in a wrong place in my opinion. All three bedrooms upstairs have stunning view, master bedroom is very big, therefore great if you got a child as plenty room to play. The villa is located on the hill, but that’s the beauty of Madeira, so not possible to go out with pushchair or wheelchair, definitely need taxi or a car to go around. Driving distance to town aprox. 10min, taxi €10- €15. The property manager is super helpful and she saved me when I went to town and forgot my keys! She came especially to open the villa for me. Jacuzzi wasn’t working, which we only find out after we made a reservation- I think there should be an update about this on the website. Overall very good experience and we all had lovely and relaxing time. Thank you. Steve Burnett |

This house is beautiful. It is perfectly located, close to Funchal. Amazing views of the area and the bay. The view at night is spectacular. You can walk to a few small shops or drive in to Funchal in 5 minutes. You could walsee more

You can walk to a few small shops or drive in to Funchal in 5 minutes. You could walk in to Funchal too but be prepared for very steep hill up and down! Claudia, the manager was so friendly and helpful. She was very responsive to every request and gave us some fantastic recommendations for activities and restaurants. She arranged a private chef for us and it was an evening to remember. We’d highly recommend this experience with Raul, if you get a chance. We were sad to leave and plan to return very soon. Great house, great island! |

Claudia has been extremely responsive and helpful – the hot tub was unbalanced after a few uses and she had the technician come the next day to change the water and rebalance !! We asked to have someone come in and cook for us – Claudia arranged for a local chef (Raul) who cooked and amazing traditional dinner in the outdoor kitchen. You will not be disappointed |

We booked the villa to enjoy a family holiday of 9 people across 3 generations and everyone had a really good time. The views are amazing over the bay towards Funchal and it certainly is the best view any of us have ever had from a Jacuzzi! Paying to get the pool heated was well worth it as despite the weather not being that warm, we all had lots of fun swimming every day. Claudia the owner was very helpful and certainly enabled the holiday to run smoothly from start to finish. For example, from a list, I provided bought food shopping on our behalf, which was really helpful as we arrived at the villa late in the evening. There are however a few local shops within a five-minute walk that has pretty much everything you could need and a brilliant bakery. The villa is very modern and spotlessly clean. The 3 bedrooms upstairs have fabulous views. The only negative point I would make is about the 4th bedroom, which is located in the basement. This is for 4 people and the room has no window and although nicely furnished is quite a difference to the others. As a family, the men gallantly agreed to take this room, but this might be a bit of a niggle for a group of 5 couples. I would happily recommend the villa as superb for 6 people; great for a larger group as long as OK with the 4th bedroom. Overall a really super location with a really helpful friendly owner…and we would certainly think about returning. Jean and family |

Très belle villa en hauteur de Funchal avec vue sur toute la ville la mer et les montagnes environnantes sans vis à vis. La communication a été très réactive et nous avons été très bien accueilli par Claudia qui s’est montré d’une extrême gentillesse et bienveillance. Nous avons rencontré un problème avec le jacuzzi mais aussitôt le problème signalé un technicien était là dans l’heure pour régler le problème. La piscine chauffée était très agréable mais attention il faut payer un supplément pour qu’elle soit chauffée. La villa était très confortable et très bien équipée notamment dans la cuisine. 3 chambres spacieuses avec literie de grande qualité et très grands dressing. Chacune sa salle de bain. La suite parentale était plus grande que notre appartement sur Lyon… En revanche la 4e chambre se situe au sous-sol et ne comporte pas de fenêtre. I would not recommend paying to heat the pool unless you can negotiate a specific temperature (in Celsius) as it was still too cold to use in winter. Previous reviews mentioned this as well. The hot tub is very nice for enjoying the water outside and you can control the temperature. A hint for Madeira travellers: the airport does not sell sim cards; they must be purchased in town or prior to visit. Roads are very steep, narrow, and curvy. We had to exchange our manual transmission vehicle for a much pricier automatic. Beautiful island, friendly people. |
