Villa Julimar is a luxurious villa with ocean view, in a quiet area in Alcatarilha, Algarve. This stunning villa has everything you can wish for to spend an extraordinary vacation. The spacious interior is decorated with modern amenities in order to provide guests with comfort and leisureliness. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and living room and the bedrooms come with electric shutters. Table tennis and table football are good ways to spend time when indoors, but for the sunny days Algarve has to offer, the private swimming pool 10 m x 5 m is a must! Salgados beach is reached within 3 km and a water park is also at a short driving distance.

The villa is beautiful – the images do not do it justice! All bedrooms have a separate bathroom, and the cellar with the ping pong table and table football was great for our final day in which it unfortunately rained! Could not recosee more

Einziger Mangel: Die elektrische Anlage lässt zu wünschen übrig (portugiesische Baukunst 🙂 . Die FI Schalter fallen regelmässig aus. Kann aber leicht behoben werden.

Only real criticism (very small at that) was the pool could have been cleaned whilst we were there, pool guy appeared as we were leaving. But absolutely tiny critiscm would stay here again!

It is close to zoomarine and slide and splash water park along with plenty of shops and beaches all within a 15 min drive from the villa. The privacy and security is amazing which is good to know when you have small kids. There is not one negative thing we can say about this villa and the location. Thanks again for giving us all a fantastic holiday. |

Our family of 6 had a lovely time at this beautiful villa. Our high expectations were exceeded, the photos more than do it justice. I would say that it is the equivalent of 4/5 star UK rated accomodation. It is kept to a high standard, very clean and with all of he essentials you need. The villa manager Gentle went out of her way to make sure she met us on the first night despite us arriving late evening and was only too pleased to recommend places to visit etc. We found the best restaurants were in the village itself. Some other good ones are to be found in Albufeira old town which is about a 15 min drive. You will need a car as the villa is remote but this suited us fine. There are too many high quality beaches to pick one, but the nearest beaches were a 5-10 min drive away and were world class. We visited Monchique in he mountains which is a good day out and spent an afternoon at Aqualand. Whilst this is not as good as Splash and Slide it is perfect for a few hours of fun, with queues no longer than 15 mins, very clean and with 50% off the price if you buy a ticket in advance, it is great value. Love Portugal! |

Would be helpful if proper details/brochures were provided so one knew more about local area offerings – a feedback book would also be good as I am sure reviews would be very positive but also helpful to new guests. |

Wenn ich im Internet Bewertungen lese, bin ich immer etwas skeptisch, insbesondere wenn sie durchgehend positiv sind. Im Falle dieser Villa sind alle positiven Bewertungen gerechtfertigt. Wir haben in den letzten Jahren verschiedene Häuser gemietet. Dieses war zwar nicht das günstigste, aber definitiv das Beste. Auf den Fotos im Internet wirkte der Pool mit dem Garten durch die gewählte Perspektive zwar etwas größer als in Realität, aber das störte uns überhaupt nicht. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch das Verwalterpaar war sehr herzlich. Wie schon an anderer Stelle zu lesen war, braucht man definitiv ein Auto, denn außer einem ALDI in einem knappen km Entfernung hat Alcantarilha „in the middle of nowhere“ nichts zu bieten. Dieses Haus ist absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man auf hochwertiges Ambiente und eigenen Pool Wert legt. |

We were 4 adults with a baby and couldn’t ask for more. Peaceful, villa very well equipped. Apolonia food grocery 15 minutes driving but worth it. Would recommend for sure !!!!

The garden is also fantastic, along with the pool – although the pool was cold.If we could have had one thing available during our week it would have been the ability to watch the major sporting events taking place, but that really is the only thing I would change about the villa. Well short of picking it up and moving it a few miles so it was overlooking the sea! The welcome we got was also fantastic, Andreia and her parents couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for helping making our week as pleasant as it was. |

Nice garden with privacy and a beautiful view with a (small) part of the sea. The garage is wonderful for kids for playing table tennis and in front of the garage, we could play beach ball. Never seen a house with so many cupboards!!!! The intermediary Andrea was a pleasant woman who told us a lot about the Algarve and the nice spots there. my figure for the house is an 8.5 |

Wir hatten eine super tolle Woche in der Villa. Das Haus hält absolut was die Bilder versprechen und der Poolbereich ist einfach klasse. Im Haus gibt es 3 vollwertige Schlafzimmer und die Ausstattung in der Küche ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir hatten am Haus und der gesamten Anlage wirklich gar nichts auszusetzen und können es jedem empfehlen. Die Lage in Alcantarilha ist auch absolut in Ordnung. Es gibt einige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und auch zum Strand dauert es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat sich sehr um unsere Zufriedenheit bemüht. Ich kann nur sagen: absolute Weiterempfehlung! |

Firstly I’d like to mention Allure Villas. Their communication was fast and helpful from booking to returning my security refund the day after returning – Thank you Mayra & Ana. We arrived at the villa and were greeted by the lovely Andreia. She sat us down and gave us a very detailed talk and tour of the villa which was very helpful. I almost thought the pictures were too good to be true of the villa, I can assure you the villa is exactly how it looks on the photos! It is finished to a very high standard, has every appliance you will need, plenty of room and seating for our group of 6. I would return to Villa Julimar in a heartbeat, we had a great holiday! “Fantastic Villa – well equipped and great location”
Just spent 2 weeks at this vacation rental and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The photos on the website are accurate and show what you are getting. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. All bedrooms have insect screens with AC in the Master. Pool was on the cool side but early in the season and not cold enough to stop my wife using it nearly every day! Owners really nice people to deal with and provided lots of local info and suggestions for trips out. We wanted to see a bit, spend time on quieter beaches and enjoy the beautiful villa. This was perfect. Mid holiday cleaning and linen change put villa back to as good as the day we arrived – excellent. You must visit the restaurant opposite the church in Alcantarilha, Salgados beach, Lagos and Tavira. Cape St Vincent (Lands End) also worth a drive out. Lots of other nice places but we thought these were best picks. Villa is 40 minutes from Faro Airport and easy distances to both ends of Algarve for trips out. Choice of supermarkets within close proximity as well as petrol stations. |

Three friends stayed at Villa Julimar for 4 nights. Andreia greeted us and provided detailed instructions to enjoy the property as well as recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc. We especially loved the pool deck with the ocean view. Cooked in the well-equipped kitchen after shopping for local produce. Centrally located in the Algarve, the Villa was convenient to beaches, harbours and attractions. Thoroughly recommend. |

Perfectly clean on arrival, with everything you’d need to cook if you didn’t feel like venturing out, including a pastry brush! The owner gave us lots of tips on things to see and do locally and was very welcoming. The garden is one of see more

Perfectly clean on arrival, with everything you’d need to cook if you didn’t feel like venturing out, including a pastry brush! The owner gave us lots of tips on things to see and do locally and was very welcoming. The garden is one of the highest in a cluster of villas and not flanked by any others, so we were only overlooked once, by a goat in the field across the way who had clambered onto a wall (no danger of him getting into the garden though). Really quiet at night. Perfect if you want to be away from the noise but a short drive from everywhere on the south coast. A car is a must. Apolonia supermarket is the equivalent of an M&S in the UK and is about 15 mins drive. Great pressure in the showers and the bathrooms are all beautifully presented. Everything worked perfectly – the house can’t be more than a year or two old. Really enjoyed our stay! |
